Napoléon III cushioned chest - XIXth

Napoléon III linen chest quilted in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer.
It opens with a lid of lively shapes and quilted on the top, equipped with a compass to maintain its hold. The chest was later covered with a yellow cloth with small squares decorated with a pattern of simplified flowers and edged with nails.
The interior is lined with zinc plates in good condition.
The paneled back is stained pitchpin and it rests on skirting boards.
Period: Second half nineteenth.

Frame in perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
Fabric presenting very light tasks, in the state.
